Experience: Suzanne’s first job out of college was working for Maricopa County in Phoenix AZ for 5 years. In that role she was known as a person who gets things done collaboratively and she worked with multiple county departments and agencies. She understands County Govt. which is one of the main reasons she chose to run for the County Board.
A track record of giving back to her community: Currently she provides leadership coaching to students at Dundee Crown HS in Carpentersville working with 50 teens. The program is split into 2 parts: in the fall students meet in small coaching groups in order to find their own leader voice. In the Spring, they mentor up to 70 5th graders from 2 elementary schools to encourage young people to pursue education, make better choices, and fill in some of the gaps that exist in young people’s lives.
